Day 01 - Arrive Trivandrum - Kovalam ( 20 Km)

Arrive Trivandrum . Meet assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel at Kovalam approx. 16 kms. Kovalam is an renowned beach of Kerala ideal for sunbathing, swimming, herbal body massages, special cultural programs, cruising etc. Evening enjoy the beach area and relax. Overnight stay at Kovalam Hotel/Resort.

Day 02 - Kovalam

After breakfast excursion to Trivandrum visiting Padmanabha Swami Temple known for its mural paintings,stone carvings, blend of Kerala architecture. This is the only temple in Kerala where foreign nationals are allowed near the Sanctum Sanctorum. Visit the Napier Museum to see the rare collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments. Visit Shree Chitra Art Gallery which displays paintings of some exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore and some collection from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali. Evening free to relax on the Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam Hotel.

Day 03 - Kovalam - Kumarakom ( 180 Km )

After Breakfast check out and drive to Kumarakam. Kumarakam is known for its backwater tourism with lots of Mangrove Forests,Paddy Fields and canals which make it beautiful natural paradise. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Kumarakom Resort.

Day 04 - Kumarakom

After breakfast sightseeing of Kumarakom, one of the enchanting backwater regions of Kerala with rivers, canals, streams and lagoons an ideal place to relax. Later visit Kumarakom bird sanctuary located on the banks of the backwaters viewing the varieties such as Waterfowls, Cuckoos and Owls, as well as the migratory Siberian Cranes. Back to the resort. Overnight stay at Kumarakom Resort.

Day 05 - Kumarakom - Periyar ( 130 Km)

After breakfast check out and drive to Periyar known for its plantations of rubber, cardamom, cocoa, green pepper and wildlife reserve. Arrive Periyar and transfer to hotel. Later visit Periyar wildlife reserve sighting elephant and tigers. Later visit spice plantations to witness the cultivation of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg and also see how they are grown, harvested and processed before they are sold in the markets. Evening boat ride on lake Periyar. Back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Periyar Hotel.

Day 06 - Periyar

After breakfast visit the Periyar Wildfife Sanctuary followed by a two hour Boat Ride. Evening free at leisure to visit local Markets area. Overnight stay at Periyar Hotel.

Day 07 - Periyar - Cochin ( 220 Km)

Morning after breakfast check out and drive to Cochin with fascinating blend of cultures. Arrive Cochin and check in the hotel. Evening enjoy cruise along the harbor. Overnight stay at Cochin Hotel.

Day 08 - Cochin

After breakfast sightseeing tour of cochin visiting The Hill Palace Museum..Mattanchery Palace also known as Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese. Return to hotel to relax. Evening Witness Kathakali the famous dance drama of kerala. This dance is known for its great story telling, amazing costumes and extensive make-up. Back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at Cochin Hotel.
